Officials announced the arrest of two teenagers in connection with the brutal beating of a former government efficiency department (DOGE) employee during an attempt to have a karzacking attempt in the country’s capital over the weekend.
The Metropolitan Police Department of Washington DC said on Tuesday that a 15 -year -old boy and a 15 -year -old girl, both Hayatsville, MD. The police did not give their mark as both are suspected teenagers.
Police said investigation is going on, in which several suspects are still outstanding.
The victim, Edward Coristine, was attacked by a group of teenagers in the city’s Logan Circle neighborhood around 3:00 pm on Sunday. According to officials, the teenager attempted to consult him and a woman, which the police recognized as his important other.

Police said Coristine pushed the woman into the vehicle for safety and replaced the group to face. At least several teenagers attacked him, police said, until the authorities patrolled nearby. As soon as the officers moved towards the group, the teenagers ran on foot.
According to a picture shared by the President on his true social stage on Tuesday, one of the most visible figures of President Donald Trump’s Dogi was released out of the blood in the attack.

The attack inspired Trump to threaten to make Washington, DC federal, calling local minors and gang members over 14 years of age to prosecute adults.
Trump wrote, “The most recent victim was beaten mercilessly by local thugs.” “Perhaps this should have been done a long time ago, so this incredible young man, and so many other people did not have to go through the horrors of violent crime. If it continues, I am going to fulfill my powers, and make this city federal. Make America great again!”

Former Dogi Head Elon Musk weighed on X, shared more of the story.
“A few days ago, a gang of about a dozen youths tried to attack a woman in his car at night at DC,” Musk wrote. “A @Doge team member saw what was happening, ran away to defend and was beaten at a point of seriously beating, but he saved him. It’s time to make DC federal.”
The President said that it seems that criminals are not “fear” of the police, because “nothing happens to them.”

“Washington, DC must be safe, clean and beautiful for all Americans and, importantly, to see the world,” they wrote in the post. “If DC does not get its work together, and quickly, we will have no option but to take the federal control of the city, and run the city as to how it should be run, and criminals are put on notice that they are no longer away from it.”
