The 80s star Kelly Labrock is considering why she suddenly leaves Hollywood at the height of her fame.
The 65 -year -old actress began her modeling career at the age of 16 and later arose for stardom with lead roles in the 1984 “The Woman in Red” and the “Funny Science” of 1985. In 1987, Lebrock married action star Steven Seagal, with which she later co-contemplated the 1990 hit “Hard to Kill”. The former couple welcomed three children before their highly promoted divorce in 1996.
After her partition, Lebrock left the entertainment industry and Santa Barbara went to a field near California, where she raised her children. During a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Lebrock recalled her decision to escape from a spotlight for a simple life.
“I ran away. I didn’t go away,” Lebrock clarified. “I ran away.”

She continued, “I have never been impressed by myself or Hollywood. I never really cared for it. And I did the right thing.”

“You know, I could always go back to a career, but I couldn’t go back to my children,” Labrock said. “And this was the most important thing for me that I was raising my children, because I grew up in boarding school. [years old]I was sent away. And I did not want that story for my children. ,

“So, I really ran,” said Lebrock. “I mean, the most difficult task for me is not putting on makeup or trying to look good. It is trying to take out those chin hair out of my chin. And this is a whole new world. What can I say?
While Lebroke mentioned that it was her divorce from Seagle that inspired her to get out of Hollywood, she explained that she never felt comfortable in the industry.
“The crowd is very ugly, and I didn’t want any part of that,” he said. “I’m really shy, and I am a homebody. I spent two years completely by myself, much in the forest. And when you are not in noise you learn a lot about yourself.”

Labrock was one of the top models of the industry in the 1970s before starting his acting career. Shortly after her star-making turn in “strange science”, the Lebrock became the face of a beauty campaign for the Panine Harecare Line and appeared in a shampoo commercial in which she now-Ishonic line now “Don’t Hate Me because I am Beautiful.”
In an interview of 2012 Alure magazine, Labrock recalled that she was uncomfortable to say the line in the beginning and almost left the audition.
“I used to be so unsafe and self-conscious that if anyone saw me, I would be red,” Labrock told the outlet. “So even though it was clearly the tongue-in-gala, it was really difficult to say, ‘Don’t hate me because I am beautiful.”
During his interview with Fox News Digital, Labrock reported that he has gained more confidence with being old.
“I never thought I was beautiful,” she shared. “I feel much more beautiful than I had now. And it’s sad. The youth is ruined on the youth, it’s sure.”

Looking back, Lebrock said that it was not as difficult to adjust his life in “The Wilderness”.
“I grew up in a very isolated area, five, six years of my life, playing in the fields and inaccessible by parents,” he missed. “And this saved my soul. I think when you can be in nature and without people, you know yourself, and you are comfortable.”
However, Labrock reported that the farm life was not without its crisis.
“There are mountain lions and big rattlesnakes and tarantulas and bears, but the lions are big,” he said. “And last time I saw one, I went home on my horse, and I have not gone to that area since then, because they are very big.”

Labrock told Fox News Digital that she was disappointed with today’s culture, which she had noted that was more disconnected than nature. He explained how the rapid major role of technology in daily life has limited human contact.
“I am really sad for our society,” he said. “You go to an airport, you go to a restaurant, don’t talk to anyone. They are all on their phone. It’s like a disease. It’s like a medicine. And I don’t want any part of it. It’s just confusing for me.”

Despite permanently moving away from Hollywood, Lebrock has sometimes returned forces in his former profession.
Over the years, he has shown in films, recently played the role of Donna, a bereaved mother and former gangster’s ex -wife in the 2021 comedy “Tumoro Today”. He has also competed in reality shows including “Celebrity Fit Club” and “Hales Kitchen”.
This year, Labrock and his “strange science” co-star are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the film.

The actress felt somewhat tight after reaching the set for the first time.
“This was only my second film, and it was filming for six weeks,” she said. “So to go to a film to be unknown to a film, who has been filming for a long time with a tribe of people who were very much among themselves, they were already good actor and everything – it was a bit frightening. It was like the first day in the boarding school.”

Labrock told Fox News Digital that he never imagined “strange science” would become so distinguished.
“You never think when you are doing something, what is going to happen,” he said. “You just want to do a good job and go home. No, you never know. And sometimes you think something is going to be great, and it gets flat on its butt. So yes, the chance is a good thing.”

Robert Downey Jr. also played a small role in the film. Labrock recalled that the “Iron Man” had a “full character” on the star set.
“We never knew how big he was going to be and to play such a small role in a prestigious film was interesting to see how he increased and how he originally saved his life,” he said. “This is a good story.”

Talking with Fox News Digital, Lebrock reflected why the film is resonant with the audience today.
“Because we used to have fun in those days,” he explained. “These were not all complications that are here today. People really looked how they looked. It was just a fun, easy period in life.”
“If we had cameras and smartphones in those days, we all will be arrested,” Labrock said.
