In June 2016, more than 100 people have rode a bicycle from Yorkshire to London in memory of the MP who murdered Cox.
The 290-mile ride-which has been taking place since a decade, and it raises money for the COX Foundation.
The parents of Mrs. Cox’s parents welcomed the Rajdhani with their sister Kim Leadbuarter, Spain Valley MP.
Mrs. Cox, who was an MP for the constituency in the former guise of Batley and Spain, was shot several times by White Dabberist Thomas Maiir at Birstall, West Yorkshire several times and stabbed.
Ms. Leadbuter said: “We had more cyclists than ever before … I think it is appropriate to say that the 10th which has been a big success.
“These riders are just amazing. It only shows people the best.
“This is a very big physical and mental challenge and each of these cyclists have earned respect to all they know.
“Which was an emotional preacher for gender equality, so it is amazing to see around 60 women riding this year and show that cycling is actually for everyone.”
The ride of this year includes the youngest of 103 participants-the 13,000 feet climb-21 while Skipaton’s 80-year-old Kath Leone was, who completed the route for the fourth time.
Mrs. Leone said, “I am doing the way of cox again to remind myself.” “We all have more than what we think.
“There are always many times on the ride when you think ‘what am I doing?” But we simply encourage each other to reach the top of the next hill. ,
Ken Every, 76, Liverdage, from West Yorkshire, is terminal cancer.
His daughter rode with him for a few miles of the journey, and his son crossed the finish line with him in London.
“I think they are both proud of me because I am doing something that I like and keeping me fit and healthy,” he said.
Mr. Everybody was told that he could expect to stay for another 10 years – but it was 15 years ago.
He said: “I believe it is down to ride cycling and keep fit.”
50 -year -old Blackburn’s 50 -year -old Saeed Omar was participating for the first time.
“This is a great phenomenon, which brings people of different abilities from all over the country to help each other through this epic ride – working together, working through challenges,” he said.
“Cycling and charity have brought us together.”
The Cox Foundation was established to campaign on issues on which MP was emotional.
