“Parks and Recreation” Star shared her grief over the podcast of former co-star Amy Polarler, “Good Hang with Amy Polar.”
“Overall, I am here and I am working,” Plaza told Polar. “This is like a daily struggle, obviously.”
This is the first time Plaza talked about losing 47 -year -old Benna for suicide.
Plaza compared his grief to the 2025 Science-Fi horror film, “The Gorge”.
“All the time there is like a huge like the ocean … just terrible,” he said. “It is always there and the demons are trying to find me.”
A writer and director Plaza and Benna started dating in 2011 and married in 2021 on their tenth anniversary. Plaza had previously talked about marriage on “The Ellen Show”, it was described as an impromptu event held in its backyard during the Kovid -19 epidemic.
After his death, Plaza and Bena’s family said statement“This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are very grateful to all who have offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
The 41 -year -old said on Podcast of Polarler that a few days, she feels stronger than others.
Plaza told Polar, “This very, very current moment, I am happy with you.”
