The New York City Police is searching for several gunmen after three people were killed and at least nine were injured in a large -scale shooting in a lounge in Brooklyn.
NYPD said on Sunday, four shooters set fire to the 903 Franklin Avenue inside the crowded taste of the city lounge. Crown Heights shows gang -related violence in the neighborhood overnight.
Many shooting victims were found inside Brooklyn Lounge
NYC Police Commissioner Jessica Tish said that the authorities found several shooting victims inside the lounge after several 911 calls from 3:30 pm on Sunday.
He said that it is believed that gunmen started firing on people during the dispute.
Tish said that three men-age 19, 27 and 35-3 were declared dead and nine people were admitted to the hospital with non-janleva injuries. The victims include nine men and three women, who are 19 to 61 years old.
The Police Commissioner said, “We are currently stopping the names of the victims, family information is pending.”
Testch said that the authorities recovered at least 42 shell castings that appeared several guns inside the lounge.
Police discovered a gun near Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway, but it was not immediately clear that the firearm was part of the lounge shooting.
Investigators were trying to find the monitoring video of the incident and so far, no arrests have been made.
Mayor asks to come forward from witnesses
Mayor Eric Adams urged anyone to come forward by calling NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline with information about Brooklyn shooting.
“If you were inside the club, if you listened to the persons while talking about this shoot, if you were looking at someone to escape from the place. Every piece of information would allow us to keep the puzzle together to solve the crime,” Edams said late Sunday morning.

The mayor said that it was the second deadly month shooting of the city in less than three weeks. Another gunman caused a storm at a midtown manhattan office building On 28 July And killed four people before closing the gun on their own.
Despite the recent incidents, Tish said that the gun violence in five boro this year is low.
“We have the lowest number of shooting events and shooting victims in seven months that we have seen on record in New York City. NYPD says about 60% of the firing of the city belongs to the gang.
