DGCA has suspended a specified examiner (D) of Akasa Air for 6 months to violate the rules during pilot skills tests. The airline claimed that it voluntarily reported a violation to the regulator. A spokesman said, “Safety is a highly priority in Akasa. Each DE and each other employees of the company maintain this standard in their highest form. The primary purpose of any DE in Akasa is to ensure that all training and assessments meet the prescribed regulatory and safety standards,” a spokesman said.
