Police officials came to know that after covering his car in the dog’s blood, a person has been banned from being the owner of animals.
22 -year -old Usma Hasan of Eastfield Road convicted Birmingham for the unnecessary suffering of a protected animal, which was to be kept down after being found by the police in Elton, Cheshire.
The Chester Magistrates sentenced him to a six-year animal ban and a 20-week custodial under the Animal Welfare Act, suspended for 12 months.
Hasan was also ordered to pay the victim surcharge of £ 154 and an additional cost of £ 85.
During its hearing on July 2, the court heard how the officials of the Rural Crime Team of Cheshire were on patrol in Pool Lane, Elton, when they crossed the car parked in a laby.
He noticed that the back bumper was covered in the blood, and after forcing his way in the vehicle, he was found to be sitting inside a metal cage a female German Shepherd.
Officials said some strips of the cage were stained with blood and the floor was covered in the animal’s stool.
A large wound was found on the dog and the authorities recommended that Hassan, who was in the vehicle at that time, was accompanied by a nearby vet.
Dog slept
In surgery, it was found that the dog had a large immovable mass. The advisor believed that it was present for a long time and was left untreated.
As a result, the animal was placed to sleep. Hasan was then arrested and taken into custody for an interview, where he told the authorities that he believed that the vet had made a mistake in the diagnosis.
He said that RSPCA had visited his address in Birmingham within the last two weeks and said that the dog was fine. The Cheshire police said that this claim was not true.
Hasan eventually admitted that the dog was in care of her for about two months, but never had a vet to see a vet before that day in her ten years of life.
