Chef and popular food network television host Anne Barel died, the network and his family confirmed on 17 June. She was 55 years old.
The food network said in a statement to CBS News, “We are very sad to share the news that dear chef, Anne Burel died this morning.” “Anne was a remarkable person and culinary talent – teaching, competing and always sharing the importance of food in her life and a delicious food that can bring pleasure. Our thoughts are with Anne’s family, friends and fans during tremendous loss at this time.”
On July 24, the office of the Chief Medical Examiner of New York City said that Burel died of suicide.
She survives with her mother, Marlene and sister, Jane, by her husband, Stuart Claxton and her son, Javier Claxton, nearly four years old.
“Anne was a lovely wife, sister, daughter, stepmother and friend – her smile entered every room. Anne’s light she knew she knew what she knew, she touched millions of people around the world. Although she is no longer with us, her heat, soul and immense love remains eternal,” her family said in a statement.

According to the food network, Burel Kishore was a lawyer for diabetes awareness and a celebrity ambassador for Kishore Diabetes Research Foundation. He served in the Advisory Board for the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit organization that brings life-long opportunities for the needy people. Burel also worked on City Harvest Food CouncilA New York City Food Rescue Program.
