Liverpool captain Vargil Van Dijak called the incident “an insult”, and said that anti -racism campaigns need to be more required to eradicate it from sports.
He said, “The only thing we can do is by personally treating him and trying to educate the next generation,” he said. “This is the only way to try and take it out.
“I can’t believe it. These things should not happen, but unfortunately it does and it is a complete insult in my eyes.”
Richard Masters, Chief Executive Officer of the Premier League, says that one will be banned from the stadiums and may face prosecution.
Masters told BBC Sport, “Any Premier League footballer should never be misused in his workplace or online. It is important that we keep saying so.”
“This is a problem for the society. It leakes in football, and it should not be in a football stadium. It should not be online.

Instagram owner Meta said it is investigating and will take action against any derogatory remarks and accounts.
