Arkansas officials say the growth of a peaceful family turned into a deadly ambush, when a 28 -year -old school student allegedly stabbed a married couple in front of her children at Devils Dane State Park.
Arkanses State Police (ASP) arrested Andrew James McGain at a barber shop in Springdale at 4:57 pm on Wednesday. Officials said McGains were in the middle of a haircut when ASP officials tracked the fugitive after a deadly attack on Saturday.
McGan was accused of two cases of capital murder in connection with the killings of 43 -year -old Clinton David Brink and 41 -year -old Christon Amanda Brink, who were found dead on a walking route. Officials said their daughters, who are 7 and 9 years old, were not hurt and are being taken care of by family members.

Shortly after – Search crew found Clinton and Christon Brink dead with clear stabbing wounds. Their daughters are found nearby, safe but painful.
Evening – The ASP confirmed that there was a dual murder in the state park and a man heham was issued for an unknown male suspect.

The victims were identified as Clinton and Kryston Brink, who recently shifted from South Dakota to the region. Police said that the family was on growth when they were targeted in a “random” attack.

According to a statement by Fox News Digital of Sand Springs public schools, McGain was a teacher in a small Oklahoma school district by May and then resigned to work in another state. He said that McGain had investigated all the backgrounds.

The mother of an alumni gave an email to Fox News from the teacher’s previous school district. He said that in 2023, he lodged a complaint with the superintendent when his son saw McGain behaving unfairly towards young women.
In response, the parents received a letter from the district stating that McGain was placed on administrative leave, while the authorities had investigated complaints of poor class management and professional decisions.
While the investigation did not find evidence of inappropriate behavior towards a student, it concluded that McGain’s class management and decision fell below the district expectations. Shortly thereafter, McGain resigned.
Email said, “On Wednesday afternoon, Mr. McGain told our Human Resource Department about his decision to resign from his post, immediately effective.” “We will have a substantial teacher in his class for the rest of the school year.”
