Officials said on Sunday that Jammu and Kashmir Police have registered a case against a senior army officer against a senior army officer against a senior army officer, in which four employees of the SpiceJet airline have been attacked at Srinagar Airport after disagreeing on payment of additional goods allegations during boarding. Station House Officer, Budgam, Tusaf Ahmed said that an FIR has been lodged in the incident. “Investigation is going on,” he said.
SpiceJet also said that it has started the process of keeping the passenger in the no-fly list as per civil aviation rules.
“SpiceJet has written to the Ministry of Civil Aviation that he has been told about the fatal attack on his employees and requested appropriate action against the passenger,” he said.
The airline said it had secured CCTV footage of the incident from airport officials and handed it over to the police.
“SpiceJet strongly condemns any work of violence against its employees and will take the matter to its full legal and regulatory conclusion,” the statement said.
