Opposition India Block has responded to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanash Kumar and Election Commission amidst vote theft and Bihar Sir Ro. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the opposition leaders of the Congress, Samajwadi Party, DMK, TMC and others have once again questioned the Election Commission and its proceedings.
On Sunday, CEC Gyanash Kumar led a press conference to address the allegations of votes raised by the opposition by the polling body. During the press conference, the CEC hit the opposition and accused the parties of misinformation and lies.
“When politics is being done by targeting the voters of India by placing a gun on the shoulder of the Election Commission, today the Election Commission wants to clarify everyone that it fearlessly stood like a rock with all the voters of all classes and all religions and all the voters and the poor, rich, elderly, women, youth,”
The opposing EC became a hit in CEC Gyanash Kumar. Top point
Speaking at the conference at the Constitution Club in New Delhi, Gaurav Gogoi accused the Election Commission of being “in the hands of officials carrying the parties”. The Congress leader further alleged that the election body was not investigating any allegations made by the protest.
Trinmool Congress MP Mahua Motra also accused the Election Commission of insulting the duty.
Speaking at the press conference, the TMC MP said that the issue of duplicate epic voter card was raised by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, but has not been resolved yet. Moitra further called for action against the previous ECS for fake voter lists and “to dissolve the Lok Sabha immediately”.
As the opposition has continued the allegation of vote theft, India block is expected to bring an impeachment motion against CEC Gyanash Kumar.
The opposition also reiterated its concerns about the special intensive amendment of the voter list in Bihar. During the conference on Sunday, the CEC said that the Election Commission will ensure that the head practice in Bihar is “successful”.
However, the opposition has alleged that Sir practice is a conspiracy and is being done in a hurry.
The ruling party is not allowing to discuss “haste” on “haste” on “haste” in Parliament?
John Britis of CPM also hit Gyanash Kumar and said he “seized his right to remain CEC”.
Britis said, “It seems that the CEC has declared war on opposition parties and the Election Commission has become the government’s B-Team.”
This is a developing story…
