One of the staunch defenders of former President Joe Biden met only in the final year of his presidential post in the White House and met with a pre-Kamander-in-Chief, a top Republican.
The House Oversite Committee chairman James Cummer, R-K., is leading the closed interview of Ian Sams, who served as a top spokesperson on matters related to the Congress investigation and other investigations during the two years after the Biden administration.
Commer told reporters, “This was probably the most informative transmitted interview slash depression that we have done so far. I will give credit to Mr. Sam. He answered our questions.”
“I think one of the most shocking things for me is … He interacted with Biden twice. He saw Biden, who spoke to Biden twice, the entire tenure as a White House spokesperson, but still – every day – every day – issue a statement from tweet and White House podium.”

In a statement after the interview, Cummer told Fox News Digital that SAMS interacted with Biden on a total of four opportunities-two-in-in-Person meeting, a virtual meeting and a phone call.
Sams released the White House well before concerns about Biden’s mental acumen, but defended him during some of his administration’s most political moments.
From May 2022 to August 2024, a long -time leftist operative worked as a senior advisor and spokesman for the office of the White House counsel, where he worked as a terrible protector of Biden during the investigation of the House Republican in his relations with foreign business efforts of family members, and investigated the Bidan in the investigation of Special advocate Robert Hur.
In particular, SAMS criticized the “wrong” and “wrong” conclusions in Hur’s report on Biden in the press in February 2024. Hur refused to charge Biden, writing that “in the test, Mr. Biden would possibly present himself to a jury, as he did a poor, well, well, well, well, well, as alderly during our interview.”
Long -time biden colleague says
“In fact, Robert Hur spent more time with Biden than Ian Sams,” Comer told reporters on Thursday.
“Ian Sams is the one who will counter Robert Hur or anytime to anyone who would suggest anyone who was not mentally fit. “He talked with the President twice, the whole time. He worked in the White House throughout the time.”
A few days after Biden’s disastrous June 2024 debate against President Donald Trump, SAMS rejected the investigation of the House Republican of the former White House of Biden’s former White House – just one of the several examples where he defended Biden’s mental sharp.

Sames Told Newsweek In response, “Here they go again, push their mad, infamous conspiracy principles to score on another hit [Fox News’ Maria] Bartiromo. ,
He similarly told that debate after the days of MSNBC that Biden was “sharp” and asked “difficult questions”.
The SAMS went to send a letter to the White House Correspondents Association to send a letter to CNN, MSNBC, and Associated Press to send a letter for coverage of Hur’s report.
“When we ask the question,” When you said this, did Biden tell you? ” ‘Ok you know, I met the President.’ ‘Did Biden tell you this, did Biden send you an email himself?’ ‘Not good.’ So it raises serious concerns and serious questions as to who was calling the shots in the White House, ”the Commerce said.
The House Oversite Committee is investigating whether Biden’s internal circle has worked to cover the signs of mental decline in the former President, and if any executive action was signed through autopen without its complete knowledge or approval.
Biden and his colleagues have publicly dismissed the allegations that he was not behind the decisions made by him.

“Instead of concluding from the Firsthand experience, Mr. Sams achieved his direction from the White House lawyer and the internal circle of Biden. Mr. Sams repeatedly made extensive public claims about the President’s cognitive status, but he was not in a position to make these claims based on such a limited contact,” Comer explained the Fox News Digital.
“Mr. Sams’s testimony raises serious questions about who is actually calling shots in the White House. We will continue to press for a reply to ensure complete transparency for American people.”
