To promote investment in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday announced several “Special Economic Package” for investors.
The CM announced the government’s decision in the social media post.
In a post on X, he wrote, “Our government has set a target of providing jobs and employment to one crore youth in the next five years. The government is encouraging those who follow self-employment in the state by setting up those industries and providing various facilities.”
He said, “Now, entrepreneurs setting up industries in Bihar will be given a special economic package. To encourage private sectors to set up industries in Bihar, the government has decided to provide a special economic package,” he said.
All these features will be provided to entrepreneurs to establish industries within the next six months. In addition, many other provisions have been made for significant assistance of entrepreneurs setting up industries in the state. A detailed notification in this regard will be issued separately, the CM said.
“Special economic packages for investors/entrepreneurs include: The incentive amount provided for capital subsidy, interest subsidy, and GST will be doubled. For the establishment of industries, land will be arranged in all districts, and more employment providing industries will be freed from cost. Disputes related to industries will be resolved on a priority basis.”
“In 2020, under the seven Sankalp -2 initiative, our government has met the target of providing government jobs and employment to 50 lakh youth. Now, our government has set a target of providing jobs and employment to 1 crore youth in the next 5 years. The state government has aims to promote industries in Bihar, which is for maximum employment and self -stagnation.
