A two -year -old boy has died and a person has been seriously injured after an accident in a car park in Kent, police said.
Officials said he was called at the junction of Harbor Street and Cromwell Road, Whitestable on 20:24 BST on Saturday, including a car and several pedestrians.
Police said the boy was declared dead on the spot and a person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The next of the child’s child has been informed.
Police said that in the 20s, a person was arrested on the spot on suspicion of death from dangerous driving.
Police said he was in custody while continuing interrogation.
A spokesperson of the Cancerbury City Council said: “Our views are with everyone affected by the previous night incident.
“We have officers on the site today to offer help and support.”
The Kent Police also appealed to witnesses or anyone to contact them with CCTV or Dashakam footage.
