A huge yarn ball has been rolled through the Bradford neighborhood to celebrate the city’s textile heritage.
A good yarn, which measures 3 meters (9.8 ft) high and wide, was designed with the donation of clothes and clothing from the Bradford district.
Hundreds of people came out to make their way with ravescliffs Avenue in the BD10 Postcode area, with its trip, the local drumming band was soundtrack by Katumba.
The man behind the creation, the artist Luke Jeram, said that she was “really proud” how the artwork came together after “a large amount of work”.
The program was the latest to celebrate Bradford’s year as the UK city culture.
“I think the public has surprised to see the road falling down the road,” Mr. Jeram said, who worked to bring the project to life with Bradford’s Bradford’s Bloumin ‘Buds Theater Company.
Donations of clothes and clothes were given a plaque in a rope in length more than one kilometer (0.6 mi).
The rope was then wound in a huge ball with the help of community groups in the BD10 postcode area.
Mr. Jeram said: “It gives people a chance to embed their creativity because this artwork is created by the people of Bradford. It is really important.”
