A route between North Cornwall and Davon has been named Britain’s favorite path for 2025.
After a public vote, Rambalars was selected from walking, with 1,000 routes nominated, Bud to Westward! The route has been crowned the country’s favorite.
The winner stretch is part of the 630-mile (1,015 km) long southwest coast road, which became England’s longest national trail in 1973.
Jonathan Jones, who nominated the path, said: “I take every chance that I get to walk on the coastal paths and just enjoy the sound of the sea.”
Mr. Jones said that he first visited the road 15 years ago, and left a permanent impression.
“It was during my life time when things were changing a lot. Walking on this path gave me clarity of mind.
He said, “Even though my legs were heavy, the way felt me very light, cleaner and clear – just got away,” he said.
A portion of the West Highland Way near the elasticity Lomond in Scotland was nominated by Robert Marshall and came to another place.
Mr. Jones will receive a £ 200 -value cottage outdoor voucher, while seven fellow finalists will receive each £ 50 voucher.

“It was fantastic to see all the breathtaking paths occupied in the whole of England, Scotland and Wales, while being on the judging panel.
Jack Cornish said to The Rumblers: “I can see why it has won.
“I have run it myself and this is a beautiful way.
“This is one of the jewels of the crown of the routes us in the UK.”
