The family of a 26 -year -old man died, who was killed in police custody after falling in his cell, he has said that “we cannot heal whatever pain we feel”.
Alice Rocks was arrested by the Greater Manchester Police on Thursday on suspicion of a drug crime at a hotel in Wigan before he was placed in a cell.
Later he was found to be unlikely and faced a cardiac arrest on the way to the hospital, where he died on Sunday, Police Conduct (IOPC) An independent office trigger for investigation,
His mother Paula Wilky said in a tribute that his family was “left” from his death and thanked the paramedics joining them.
He said that he had spent the weekend with his sister on his behalf “and breathed his last on Sunday morning”.
Mother said that she wanted “justice” for her son and “to ensure that it never happens to someone’s child”.
“My little boy can rest peacefully and we will fight for justice until we die,” he said.
A spokesperson of IOPC said that whatever happened was required to “completely and independent investigation”.
It will involve that the interaction with Mr. Rocks would involve investigating the officials before taking it into custody, and what happened after being detained, the Watchdog said.
Mr. Rock was arrested on Thursday at Britannia Hotel on Badam Brooke Road, trying to deal with drugs on the campus after a report by Standish.
Detention officials found him unanimous in his cell at around 02:30 BST on Friday, and was rushed to the hospital by paramedics.
He faced a cardiac arrest N route and later died in the hospital.
IOPC announced an official inquiry that it would be after his death and has reviewed the CCTV with a custody suit and the body-wise video footage from the authorities.
GMP assistant chief constable Chris Cyx said the force would fully collaborate with IOPC investigation.
He also urged people to “run to decide before the establishment of full facts”.
