TV presenter Kat Dale and Patrick Killty have announced that they are separating after getting married for more than a decade.
48 -year -old Dele, who hosted ITV this morning since the beginning of last year, and Kelty, 54, RTA’s hosts of The Late Show and BBC Radio 5 Live presenter shared two children simultaneously.
The pair said in a joint statement, “We have decided to end our marriage and now separated. There is no other party.”
“We will continue to unite as a parents who love our children and so please ask to respect the privacy of our family. There will be no further comment.”
The pair married in September 2012 at a ceremony in Rome.
Dele became a star in the UK, while SM: TV Live with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donley from 1998 to 2002.
In 2002, he co-maintained the BBC Talent Show Fame Academy with Kilty, but it was not 12 years later that he became a doubles when Kailty flew for lunch with Dela for Los Angeles from Belfast.
Kilty first said to the Daily Mail: “Nothing would have happened until someone was stupid enough to go on the aircraft.
“Cat was in La and I was in Northern Ireland, so I recited her to wish her a happy birthday.
“When she said she was having a birthday lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel, I said I would come there. She said I was asked to go to sleep drunk.
“He was 2 o’clock. I woke up at 5 in the morning, went to Belfast Airport for 6 pm, flew for Heathro at 7.15 am, landed at 8.30 am, flew again at 9.40 am and reached LA at 1.15 am.”
The pair lived in California for more than 14 years, while Dele became a star in America, presenting the primetime talent show you think you can dance.
After returning to London in 2020, Dele presented this morning’s duties with Ben Shepherd last year.
Northern Irish presenter and comedian Kailty began his stand-up career as the first Comedy Club in Northern Ireland, The Empire Laughter Back, such as the Last Chance Lottery and BBC One Chat Show Patrick Kalty, such as the hosts of The Empire Laughter Back.
He hosted late late show to RT from Ryan Tubridi in 2023.
He has presented several documentaries about the trouble, including the BBC program My Dad, The Peace Deal and me, which are about his father’s death at the hands of paramilitary gunmen.
