Officials confirmed that Los Angeles Chargers Lineback Denzel Periman was being kept without bail after being arrested on arms charges on Friday night.
In a statement, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department said that the depot in South La organized a traffic stop at Periman at around 9:30 am for a violation of the vehicle code. During that stop, five firearms were found inside the vehicle.
Two of those firearms were rifles of attacks. He was arrested on suspicion of allegations of arms violations.
The department said that Periman was cooperative with the depot.
