New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar demanded a clear and creative approach for bilateral relations, as India and China wanted to move forward after a difficult period in the relationship, in a meeting with Chinese counterpart Wang Ji. A Chinese readout quoted Jaishankar as saying that Taiwan is a part of China, indicating India’s continuous support for one-China policy, although India has artisticly closed it into bilateral documents. “When the two largest nations in the world are found, it is natural that the international situation will be discussed. We seek a fair, balanced and multi-polar world system, including a multi-polar Asia,” Jaishankar said, expressing hope that the dialogue will contribute to the construction of a stable, cooperative and forward-looking relations and one which fulfilled the interests of the two countries.“The fight against terrorism in all his forms and expressions is another major priority,” he told Wang.Wang, who talked about the need to maintain speed in the relationship, will hold the 24th round of special representatives on the border question with NSA Ajit Doval on Tuesday. He will also call Modi. Jaishankar emphasized India’s position that both sides should be directed by three mutual -mutual honors, mutual sensitivity and mutual interest. “Differences should not be disputed, nor competition struggle,” he told Wang, echoing Modi’s statements first.According to the Chinese statement at the meeting, Wang insisted that China is ready to maintain indelible, honesty, mutual gains and inclusion principles, and works with neighboring countries including a shared future, and India, jointly to create a “five-house” of peace, peace, prosperity, beauty and friendship. “China and India should strengthen their confidence, meet each other halfway, eliminate interference, expand cooperation, and strengthen the pace of improvement in China-India relations,” said this.
