According to this, the chairman of Uttarakhand Piel Nigam, Shailesh Bagauli has suspended Sujit Kumar Vikas, in -charge Chief Engineer (Kumaon), whose chief posts are with immediate effect for violation of the Code of Conduct along with Superintendent Engineer, Uttarakhand Pisal Nigam, Haldwani.According to the official order issued by the Chairman of Uttarakhand Pasal Nigam, a complaint was received from Chandrapal Singh’s son Sanjay Kumar, stating that he works on water supply projects on a contractual basis. In 2022, Sujit Kumar Vikas, who was the then Superintending Engineer, Construction Division, Uttarakhand Paizal Nigam, Dehradun, assured Sanjay Kumar to register his firm M/S rigid enterprises with the department and provide work opportunities.In return, based on the instructions of Sujit Kumar Vikas, Sanjay Kumar transferred a total of 10 lakhs in five installments of every ₹ 2 lakh from Bank of Baroda Account (Account No. 53930200001457), which is located near Bajpur Road, Kashipur. 06.07.2022, 07.07.2022, and 08.06.2022. On reviewing the departmental records, it was found that Sujit Kumar Vikas’s wife is Mrs. Ranju Kumari, one of the partners of M/S Cuchu-Puchu enterprises.Sujit Kumar Vikas was given 15 days to respond to the allegations, but he failed to present any answer within the stipulated time.The president of Uttarakhand Pasal Nigam has said that the allegations against Sujit Kumar Vikas are of very serious nature. Their work is a clear violation of Uttarakhand Pasal Nigam Employees Conduct Rules. Permission to continue as Chief Engineer (Kumaon), Haldwani in charge, will adversely affect the functioning of other officers and employees in the department.Therefore, under the provisions of the rules of Uttarakhand Pasal Nigam personnel (discipline and appeal), Sujit Kumar Vikas, Superintendent Engineer, has been suspended with immediate effect. During the suspension period, it will be connected to the office of General Manager (Training), Human Resource Cell, Uttarakhand Paizal Nigam, Rocky.
