Two people have been arrested after sharing a video, who were shared online of men driving around a community, who used to spray a water gun in the conservative Jews.
The footage, which was later removed from YouTube and Instagram, showed men laughing and smiling because they traditionally inflated water in the pedestrians dressed in clothes, including children, in Greater Manchester.
It was soundtrack with Hawa Nagila, a folk song traditionally sung at the Jewish ceremony.
Greater Manchester Police said that those arrested between 26 and 36 years of age were being questioned on suspicion of racially increased common attack.
Authorities also seized a vehicle, which is believed to have been seen in footage with a water pistol.
CH Inspector Simon Ashcroft said: “We are accepting this incident with great seriousness and has worked fast to arrest.
“The Greater Manchester Police has a zero-assessment approach to hate the crime in any form, and we are committed to ensure that our communities feel safe and supported.
“We continue to work closely with our colleagues to assure and encourage anyone affected to come forward.”
The video is widely condemned, with the Community Protection Trust, a donation that promotes the safety and safety of the Jewish people, describes it as a “a frightening antisemitic video”.
