State inspectors have exposed about 20 disintegrated bodies hidden inside a colorado funeral house operated by the elected coroner of the county – a search authorities called “deep violations of trust and a heart -wrenching betrayal”.

The state has suspended the funeral-house license of Davis Morchari. Officials said that its cremation license was valid till November 2024, although employees said that no crematorium has been done for about 10 years.

“Our top priorities are to process this scene respectfully and humanly, identify all the deceased and inform their families and loved ones,” Saldate said.

No formal allegations have been made so far. Officials said they know about the whereabouts of Brian Cotter, and he would continue to work as a publo county coroner for now. Both Kotter Brothers are under investigation, although neither is currently subject to travel restrictions.
