An official said on Friday that a 58 -year -old woman was arrested by Delhi Police in several cases from Central Delhi, when she arrested for more than two years.
Answer -Mita, a resident of Nand Nagari in Prabhu Delhi, wanted in a case registered under the Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) of Maharashtra Control in 2023 and was absconding ever since.
The accused is a known bootleger and drug pedaler, in which 20 criminal cases have been registered against him, DCP (Central) Nidhin Walson said, he was a history-master-owner at Nand Nagari Police Station.
The police got a tip-off that the accused would reach the Delhi Milk Scheme (DMS) booth in Central Delhi to meet someone. Accordingly, a trap was laid, due to which he was arrested, the DCP said.
“During interrogation, Meena told the police that she entered the world of crime at an early age. Her first arrest came under the Excise Act in 1985,” Walson said.

The DCP said over the years, Meetia ran a racket involved in the illegal trade of alcohol and drugs with its colleagues, inspiring the MCOCA call in 2023.
After the registration of the case, she kept hidden and moved places to avoid arrest.
The official said its previous criminal records include the NDPS Act, the Excise Act, and the Indian Penal Code, Drug Smuggling and Bootling to the attacks, obstruction of public servants and harassment of declared criminals.
