Illinois village. The move was slammed by conservative representative Mary Miller, R-Il, who rewards illegal immigrants and “slaps on face” for Illinois families and students.
The aim of the bill is to establish “equal eligibility for financial assistance and profit” for all students in the state.
The bill states that “a student who is an Illinois resident and who is not otherwise not eligible for federal financial assistance, but a transgender student, who has been disqualified for failure to register for selective service or a non -student student who does not law does not get permanent residence, will be eligible for financial support and benefits.”

“If you live in Illinois and are chasing higher education, you should have access to equal opportunities to your peers,” said Vilanueva. “Illinois invests in all our students, and we are committed to help them succeed.”
Commenting on the law, Miller told Fox News Digital that “allowing financial assistance funded by a taxpayer for illegal aliens is a slap for hardworking Illinois families and students.”
He said, “Our state is sinking in debt, yet JB Pritzkar is firm to drain even more taxpayers to illegally reward,” he said. “It’s absolutely embarrassing.”
A spokesman for Illinois GOP also told Fox News Digital, saying “Once again, Governor Pritjkar proved that he was giving priority to illegal migrants at the expense of Illinois families.”
