Democrats are fighting teeth and nails to stop the plan of Texas MPs to re -prepare the Congress map of the state, but critics, including a prominent member of their own party, say they do not have a moral ground.
Democrat MLAs have fled from the state to avoid votes on redistribution, expecting more Republican seats to the Congress for the loan star state. They are receiving rock-star treatment as they visit Blue States, where many governors have vowed to the Germander Republican out of their own Congress delegation in vengeance for Texas’s attempt.

However, Democratic Strategist Julian Epstein told “Fox News Live” on Saturday that his party is not immune to criticism, as many blue states have already done germander in a way in a way that limits the representation of the Republican Congress.
“No, I think they do not have moral rights, and there is a lot of pearl-clutch,” he said.
There is no Republican in his home delegation in many blue states including Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Mexico. And in many, strangely designed districts seem to be designed to limit the GOP representation.
“Democrats do not have a clean hand. You see states like Massachusetts, New Jersey[…] Epstein said Illinois, California and Democrats have effectively excluded Republicans from existence.

Epstein warned that the nationwide redistribution battle could create a “race downward”, and that the states led by the opposite parties can make people feel out of the democratic process, except Republican and Democrats in the states. Epstein cited New Jersey, with Trump received 46% of the votes in 2024, but Republican has only three of the 12 Congress seats.
Meanwhile, Texas State Rape. Brian Harrison, a Republican, told Fox News Digital on Saturday that Democrats are guilty of “total hypocrisy and impure outrage”.
Harrison said, “Dirty Little Secret is that Democrats have no problem, which is to maximize the biased political gains with the states to resume their Congress maps. They are just angry that the Republican states are starting to resume their maps,” said Harrison.

“This is because the Democrat state after the Democrat state has been taking out hell from his Congress map for a decade,” he said.
He said, “Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Road Island, Delaware, are zero in all these states. If you are Republicans in those Democrat states, you have no voice in Congress,” he said. “And [there are] Many, many more who have given you just one seat, Oregon, I think Main and Maryland. ,

“We are talking about emergency measures to respond to what is happening in Texas, and we will make it zero what happens in Texas.”
Newsom said, “We will raise five seats with the consent of the people. And this is the difference between the approach we are taking and the approach they are taking,” Newsom said. “We are doing it on a temporary basis. We are doing it completely transparent and we are doing it by asking the people of the state of California for their consent and support.”
Harrison reported that there are several reasons behind Texas’s redistribution push, including the population growth in the loan star state since the previous census.
