According to Major League baseball, on average over 25 million spectators in Japan on Tuesday of the Tokyo series, it became the most seen MLB game in the history of the country.
Viewers crossed 18.7 million spectators for the first game of last year’s Seoul series in South Korea for a 4–1 victory of Los Angeles Dozers on Chicago cub, showing the Dojers against San Diego Padress.
In Tuesday’s game, the first all-Japanese on Opening Day was Pitching Duality. Yoshinobu Yamamoto of Los Angeles gave a run in five innings, while Chicago’s Shota Imnaga threw four scorer frames.
The 6–3 win of the Dojers on Wednesday, which featured more than 23 million Japanese audiences in a huge single house run by Shohi Ostani. In the second game, Pitcher Roki Sasaki also showed her launch start.
Two games in the US – which began from PDT at 3 pm in CDT and Los Angeles in Chicago – an average of 590,000 spectators.
Tuesday’s game on Fox average 838,000 spectators on FS1 drawing 361,000 on Wednesday.
