The Department of Justice released hours of interview between a top federal prosecutor and Ghislane Maxwell, the only person who was convicted or civilly responsible for a role in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanches, sat in a federal jail in Talhasi with Maxwell, where she was being held till recently. The conditions of the interview gave him limited immunity to further prosecution – until he told a lie.

Authorities also published audio recording of interviews on DOJ website along with hundreds of pages tapes.
Maxwell is serving a 20 -year prison sentence after being convicted in 2021 to help Epstein Traffic Teen Girls. He has an ongoing appeal and has indicated that he is ready to sit for an interview with both federal prosecutors and Congress.

Epstein died in a federal jail cell in 2019, before he faced himself trial. His official cause of death has been committed suicide, a conclusion by his brother.
The release came with a little warning, the federal judges denied the requests of the DOJ to ignore the grand jury content from the criminal cases of Maxwell and Epstein.
