The magnitude 4.3 earthquake on Monday informed that Nagaon district of the National Center for Sismology (NCS) shocked Negaon district.
The earthquake recorded about 40 kilometers from Tezpur had a depth of 35 km and was felt today at around 12.09 am.
“EQ of M: 4.3, on: 18/08/2025 12:09:33 IST, Lat: 26.28N, Long: 92.71 AD, Gahei: 35 km, location: Nagaon, Assam,” NCS posted on X.
Meanwhile, on August 17, at 5:30 pm, another earthquake of magnitude 3.1 was recorded in Churu region of Rajasthan. Earthquakes were felt at a depth of 10 km, 7.56 latitude and 74.01 longitude.
