Former ABC news correspondent Terry Moran on Tuesday worried that the US would soon lose its independent press if President Donald Trump has not been “not stopped”.

Moran made a bold prediction that there would be no independent news in the US as media organizations will be taken away by the current administration from them.
“I think they are going to some point, get rid of news divisions, my prediction,” he told Matthews. “It will either be snatched away from them – until Trump is stopped, there is a playbook here. You see it in all powerful countries.”

“There is no Mount Olympus of fairness where there is no feeling about their society in a Mandarin class of intelligent people,” he continued. “We are all together. What you have to be is fair and accurate.”
