A family tribute was issued by the police, who was killed after being taken to the hospital by serious injuries to a one -year -old girl.
Hampshire and Isle of White Constabulary said it was called at a address on the Dairy Crest Drive in Newport at 11:34 BST on a address on the Isle of White.
One-year-old Jayala-Jew McLaren died at the hospital on Sunday afternoon, the force said.
A 31 -year -old man and a 27 -year -old woman, both from Newport, were first arrested on suspicion of serious physical damage.
Both were released on conditional bail till 1 November and on further inquiry.
The tribute to his family said: “Mummy, daddy, and grandmother will always love you. Fly up the high princess.”

“We know that emotions in the local community are quite high after the news of this disastrous incident.
“I want to assure the community that our investigation is on, and we are tirelessly efforts to establish full facts around Jayala-Jeen’s death.
“When we understand community anxiety, we urge people not to speculate on the circumstances because it will create more crisis for those who knew Jayala-Gyne and can disrupt the ongoing police investigation.
