Jane Pavol made a history of MLB over the weekend, as the first female umpire to be depicted in a large league game after serving more than a decade in the small league.
While she made her debut at the locations during the Atlanta Braves-Miyami Marlins on Saturday Doubleheader, she was behind the plate for the first time during the conclusion of the series on Sunday.

Umpscorecards, which collects data for all home plate umpires throughout the season, shared the results of Pavol’s performance from Sunday. He called 92.72% balls and strike correctly, according to the outlet, 140 out of 151 were called correctly.
According to data, the average of umpires in this season was 94.23%.

Breaking the report card more, the ball of pavol is called accuracy, 95%, of which five 104 balls are incorrectly called. The average for umpires in this season is 97%.
According to the report, for the accuracy of the strike, its mark was 88%, which is average for all umpires. He called six out of 47 incorrectly.
While the relative accuracy was -1.4% lower, Pavol received a great review from Marlins Manager Clayton McCulo after the game.

“I think Jane did a great job,” he said, through The New York Post,
“I think she is composing a far behind. She handled and managed the game very well. And big day for her. Major League Baseball. I congratulated her again because it’s quite achievement.”
Pavol, who plays softball at Hofstra University, spent 10 seasons in minor leagues, served as an umpire for more than 1,200 games. She said “Sapna really came true” when she ran to the ground during Saturday’s doublehead, where there was a loud shout from fans at the Trust Park in Atlanta.
“I am still living in it, and I am very grateful to my family, just for the Major League baseball to create such an amazing work atmosphere, with umpires that I work – we have only amazing camera. We are working hard, but we are having fun. And I am just very grateful,” said Pavol, “said Pavol.

While the next MLB assignment of Pavol is not clear – it is considered a rover that is said to be a call game from a minor league – history was built in Atlanta later this week.
