Started as a regular free-diving trip from the coast of Florida, a bull for an experienced spear fisherman ended with a bite of shark-after assuring his upcoming family not to worry about the famous predators.
Chance Armand, 28, who started spearfishing in 2020, did free diving this year and said that even though shark is a common phenomenon, “nothing crazy” usually occurs.
Armand told Fox News Digital, “You participate in them, you hold a glimpse of each other, and they can try you for your fish and punk you, but they do nothing about it really.”

The 13 -year -old boy, who lost his leg in a shark attack, shares the miraculous story of survival: ‘Prabhu gave me strength’
Milton Local said that his perspective changed during the August 2 visit when one of the ocean hunters immersed his teeth into his leg, which sent him to the emergency room.
On the day of the attack, Armand was carrying his family, going out on the water for his first ocean experience, from Oklahoma.
Armand said, “I was talking to me about going into water with me and maybe shooting fish.” “They were all worried about sharks, and I am sitting there and flying them,” Oh, don’t worry about it. Shark will not do anything with you. “

The group saw some sharks while fishing, but Armand said he did not think of anything about it.
He said, “I decided to put a dive for myself, as everyone else shot a fish at this point, and dives up to 65 feet. I hung there for a while, waiting for the fish to be used for my appearance,” he said. “A good-sized yellow jack floats me in the past, I shot him at 65 feet, and began to pull it to secure the fish-stop it in the water column and stop the shark from attracting the shark.”
At a distance of about 55 feet, Armand looked down to see a bull shark “flying from the bottom”.

He said Florida shark often combines boats and inspires the sound of a spear gun, their quick reaction with an easy meal.
Armand said, “He was trying to catch fish before some other sharks, sent it completely, and was associated with me on the accident while he was trying to get the fish.” “As soon as he felt my leg a little and felt that it was not a fish, he let me go and did not chew me or anything, thank you. This path could have been spoiled if he decided to decide a little on me.”
The right -handed opportunity took the fish and floated back to the sea bottom, leaving the armand without fish and a little less skin.
After revival and telling others what happened, the group climbed into the boat and hoisted the armand inside. Using a spear gun band, a plaque knife and a T-shirt, he created a temporary tournic to prevent bleeding.

Armand posted pictures to capture a one -time lifetime experience on Facebook, which showed him smiling while holding the tournic on the ride back on the edge.
Asked if it was possible to have a positive attitude between the shock and pain of whatever happened, Armand said that he controls what he can do and “gives God the rest.”
“When I went on the boat, it was obviously it was serious. We needed to stop bleeding,” he said. “Once we reached that tournicate and saw that the bleeding stopped, it was like a relief. From there, it was just a boat ride on the sea, took a ride back to the dock and was just talking to my cousins to Oklahoma.”

Once returning to the ground, emergency respondents rushed him to the hospital, where he undergoes anesthesia to clean and inspect the wound. After a large number of stitches, he was able to return home.
“It was a blessing,” said Armand. “Thankfully, somehow all the teeth danced around all the important accessories – no ligaments, arteries or bones were hit, so there was no structural damage. They were able to stitch it back together, and I was walking on it the next day.”
Armand said that he posted now-viral pictures on social media, hitting another diver with a gun of his missing spear, which fell during the scurry for security.
Reported two shark attacks in different holiday hotspots with the onset of summer beach season
“It just blown away from there,” he said. “I am taking an opportunity to take a chance to bring light to light in the abundance of shark to us in the water of Florida.
“We have a lot of sharks in the water, so it’s not that we are in danger to hurt the population, especially when it comes to bull shark. They are doing a dime out of a dozen, we go out every time. I love them to see them as a renewable resource, like any other fish can be carried out in water.”

Due to the attack, Armand said that he was planning to return to his ocean hobby after being fully recovered.
“Hopefully, once the stitches are out, I will return to the water for the gropper season, starting from 1 September,” he said. “As long as I get a green light from the doctor, I am not going to catch some gramly infections or something. … I am a little dumb to leave.
“In the future, I will definitely not only assume that sharks are not going all the way when it comes to stealing a fish. They have teltell signs when they are in chase mode, such as like wings, below, [so I will] Just try and pay more attention to body language. ,
A spokesman from the Eskambia County told Fox News Digital that he received a 911 call about the incident, but Armand was assisted by fire personnel at Naval Air Station Pensaccola.
NAS Pensacola did not immediately respond to questioning Fox News Digital.
