Former England school footballer Jess Carter has said that it is planning to honor the star with a sports scholarship for the promising students for promising students.
The 27 -year -old defender, two -time European Champion with England after a Sunday night’s victory over Spain, attended the Oilsford School in Warwick when she was in the years 10 and 11.
Hedtekar Peter Gilbrid said that the school had a conversation with Carter’s father on an event that could begin in September.
“We believe it is not always easy and we want to help funding,” he said about the students’ ambitions.
Talking to BBC Midlands today, Mr. Gilbrid said: “I think it is really important to celebrate Jess and the team’s achievement, and talk with our students about this so that they aspire to become athletes.
“That is a great example for us that we see them back.”
He said: “I spoke to Jess’s father this morning and we talked about a scholarship that we want to keep in place [help] Families are capable of participating in any sports achievement, which they are targeting. ,
Carter’s former PE teacher Kirsten McMamre said that footballer would play everywhere in school, but he has a role with Raksha – England.
She said: “She was extremely talented with everything to do with the game. She was a lovely, lovely student who had great symptoms for being a leader and being a star athlete.
,[At school] She plays anywhere, but defense, essentially. She would play midfield, striker, if we wanted her, but really anywhere but defense. ,
