Four attackers chased a 21 -year -old man before he was killed with Macches and then shot as he tried to stand up by a court.
The Manchester Crown Court was told that the 21 -year -old man was seen in a street by his attackers as he rode an electric bike with Hampden Crescent in Gortex on 7 October 2024.
The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said that the victim, who managed to remove themselves despite repeated stabs, managed to remove themselves and then shot in the leg, faced “frightening, life-changing injuries”.
The defendants – all murder attempts, captured a bladed article and life was convicted for placing a gun with the intention of danger – was jailed between 20 and 40 years.
Members of the jury were told that the defendants had seen their prey in the street.
The victim unsuccessfully tried to hide by crawling behind a park and a tree, his attackers off their electric bikes and followed.
The GMP stated that both Kalen Mongem and Zak Morris at that time branded the matches, while 27-year-old Kavon Haseldon-Hoyal organized a gun.
Police said the victim then tried to jump on a garden fence, but was repeatedly caught with matches before falling to the ground.
As soon as he tried to go on his feet, Handeen-Hoyal set fire.
The shot hit one of the 21 -year -old feet, but he managed to overcome himself as a group of attackers fled from the spot.
The detective, who gathered and crushed through hundreds of hours of CCTV footage and phone records, established that the four met in a house in Ardvik to plan the attack.
In the preparation of shooting, he deliberately left his mobile phone behind and turned his clothes into a bid to hide his identity.
Speaking after sentencing, Deit Inspector Lewis Edwards said: “The extreme level of violence used in this attack was sick.
“The attack was carried out in a broad daylight and the victim was repeatedly hit with Macches and exploded with a gun.
“He is abandoned with extremely severe life-sustaining injuries, including partial loss of his leg, and lucky to survive.
“Four criminals have not shown any regret in the entire investigation.
“Manchester roads are now safe that these people have been put in jail.”
