Gary Linekar has to host a new TV game show called The Box, confirmed by ITV.
In the new show, the pre -day match will be seen overseeing 10 yellow boxes, each housing celebrity contestants will be taken to unknown places, where they will participate in various sports.
This will be their first offer Leaving the day match in May Between an antismitism row.
Linekar, who had previously hosted another ITV game show, was sitting on one luck – for 13 episodes in two sessions from 2021 to 2023 – a statement: “I can’t wait to host the box.”
He continued: “I have always felt right at home in the box on a football pitch, and while it is a different offer, basic things are the same.
“Contestants must quickly and skill to work on how each game works, while trying to get ahead of the competition to take control.
“It’s going to be unexpected and thrilling to see it, and I am excited that I have a front ro seat for all action!”
A series based on a recently aired show in Norway were shot in the UK later this year before aired on ITV in 2026.
Every week, two players are known as “The Duality” in a dramatic closing.
ITV entertainment boss Katie Rockcliffe said that Linekar was “fit for the box”, which he promised that he would “provide an entertaining, virtuous and immersion new format.”
In May, Linekar shed tears as he signed his final edition of 26 years later in the hot seat after 26 years and officially left the BBC.
