Exclusive – Former Georgia Lieutenant village. Gyof Duncan says that the social media attacks of President Donald Trump, criticizing his move from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party, valued his major switch in political affiliation.
Trump wrote on his true social platform on Friday, “Former Lt Governor of Georgia, Jyoff Duncan, Failing former Governor Geoff Duncan wrote on his true social stage on Friday.
The President alleged that Duncan “was never able to do anything, he ever complained.
Asked about criticisms, Duncan told Fox News Digital in a special national interview later in a special national interview, “I think he is making my case for me that the Republican Party no longer wants to love its neighbor. There is nothing in that tweet or truth social post or any kind of attitude shows that I want to be a part of it.”

“I wish him all the best. I hope he finds out how to run this country, it is better that he is for the next few years. But I am proud to not be a Republican, especially with him at the tip of the spear,” Duncan was highlighted.
Announcing his decision, Duncan cited several policy issues that played a role in their decision to replace parties, including health care, medicade, gun safety, immigration and poverty.
He wrote that his time in the office has taught him the best way to “love my neighbor”.
Duncan told Fox News, “I find it easy to love my neighbor as a democrat, it is not an ideal landing spot, but it gives me a better opportunity every day when I get up to love my neighbor.”
Georgia GOP expels the former lieutenant. Geoff Duncan from Governor Party, citing alleged chaos
A former health care executive and minor league baseball player Duncan served in the Georgia Legislature for four years before holding an election as a lieutenant governor in 2018 and winning the election. He decided against the demand for re -election in 2022.
After leaving the post, Duncan-who was a vocal GOP critic of Duncan-Trump’s repeated attempts, who was repeated for an election defeat in Battleground Georgia on November 2020 in his reserpentic November 2020 in Battleground Georgia-he said “a Republican party’s rebuilding and rebuilding which is damaged, but not destroyed.”

Duncan supported Biden in the 2024 presidential race and later supported Vice President Kamala Harris after replacing Biden at the top of Democrats’ 2024 tickets. Duncan spoke in a high-profile speech at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago last August.
The Georgia Republican Party expelled him from GOP earlier this year.
Duncan told Fox News, “Neither the party is taking it out of the park.” I have tried this reform before the Republican side, and Donald Trump in his opinion, has sucked life and future out of the Republican party. “
Duncan’s old boss, Republican village. Georgia’s Brian Kemps are term-limited and cannot re-election next year. Duncan confirmed Fox News that he was considering 2026 runs for the governor.
“Me and my family are certainly not ready to take a big decision here, but this is something we are definitely considering. I mean, my phone has continued to ring till the end, Democrats, Independents and even some people who want to consider it,” Dankan said.
When asked about his timetable, Duncan said “2026 is coming like a goods train. And of course, if it is a decision with which we move forward, it will have to be within a few months.”
Duncan insisted that “if the Democrats, especially in Georgia, want to succeed, they will have to stay in the middle and not the fringe.
About half a dozen Democrats in Georgia have already started a dubanatorial campaign including former Atlanta Mayor Kisha Lance Bottoms, who later worked in the Biden administration.
Pointing to the two major Republican for the Governor, Lieutenant Gove Burt Jones and the State Attorney General Chris Karr, Duncan said, “I hope we are able to sit back and find a democratic candidate who can win the governor and not allow a governor trump to show for four years in the state because this is going to happen because it is going to be done.”

Duncan argued, “Republican slate is going to dominate the person supporting Donald Trump, and that person is going to be a puppet for Donald Trump.” “And no Georgian wants this. Nobody wants the Georgian to manage the discrepancies of Donald Trump as to how their children are educated, how their roads are protected and how the government interacts with those who need the most.”
Looking forward to the next year’s elections, when Georgia comes into the national headlines once again, Duncan said, “Georgia is going to remain the political center of the universe, as we look at the Senate race. As we look at this governor’s race. I think I think Georgia has an opportunity to lead the rest of the country, and I hope that we hop that we take advantage of it.
