Google Pixel 10 series, such as new models Pixel 10, Pixel 10 ProPixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Folds, is going to launch on 21 August, and only a few days are left. So far, there has been a pile of leaks about hardware including processor, design, camera, color, and more. And recently, software-centric leaks have also emerged, especially giving details of possible AI features for the Pixel 10 series for the camera.
Here, we have cured a list of all the leaks and rumors that have come up so far, which is likely to come true on the basis of the report. Read on for the details.
Pixel 10 Series Mobiles: Design, Sports and Camera
Starting with the design, things are expected to be largely equal this year. Google revives the design with the Pixel 9 series last year, offered flat sides, a flat display and a floating, wisor-like camera design, and expected to follow the suit from this year’s model. The Pixel 10 Pro is expected to look similar to its predecessor, while the standard Pixel 10 is expected to receive a minor twice, especially for the camera module, as it is rumored to get a triple-camera setup.
New colors are also expected, including a new moonstone color and Z for Pixel 10 Pro. A new blue color, indigo, is also estimated for standard pixel 10.
Regarding the specifications, the Pixel 10 series is expected to facilitate the latest tensor G5 chipset in the 3Nm chipset produced by TSMC. It is a departure from the Samsung-made Tensor G4 that operates last year’s Pixel 9 series, including the latest Pixel 9A. This processor is expected to offer significant benefits in performance and efficiency.
It remains to be seen how it will eventually compare with major contestants such as Snapdragon 8 Elite and MediaTek Demistance 9400, which strengthens the current crop of major smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S25 series, OnePlus 13, and Vivo X200 Pro. For Ram, the base model is expected to continue the 12 GB RAM facility, while the pro like last year is expected to have 16 GB RAM.
This year cameras are expected to be a highlight, especially for the standard Pixel 10, as it is the first rumor to get a triple-camera setup. This will be the first for standard models, as Google usually reserved triple cameras for its pro model in Pixel 6, 7, 8 and 9 lineups. However, reports suggest that the primary sensor itself may be a downgrade and smaller than the sensor found on Pixel 9. The 5X telephoto lens is expected to have an 11-megapixel sensor with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
For the pro model, the sensor is expected to remain unchanged, with 50-megapixel main wide cameras, 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensors and 48-megapixel 5x telephoto lenses. Apart from these changes, pixel devices are also expected to achieve telephoto macro abilities, which have been seen on phones such as X200 Pro and even some Xiaomi phones such as Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
What about software AI features?
In terms of software, recent reports of Android Headline suggest that these pixel devices are expected to get new AI features, especially for the camera. The Pixel 10 series is expected to introduce a ‘camera coach’ feature from the series, which can help users to take better photos by providing instructions on composition, lighting and more. To be effective, it will need to provide these guidelines in real time.
Additionally, a convenience within the photo app allows convenient editing. This may mean that users may be able to provide signals to editing, such as to have a white balance, or adjust the contrast, and more.
