In a scary letter obtained by Fox News Digital, Hunt asked Newsom to fully audit California’s Medi-Cal enrollment, released the findings of unqualified individuals publicly benefited, and canceled the waves that allow the state to provide the state to illegal migrants.
Hunt wrote, “Given the currency of Democrats against the public opposition to the operation of ice of Congress and California Governor Gavin Newsom, it is only logical to demand transparency on how many illegal migrants are benefiting in California, only benefiting for American citizens,” Hunt wrote.

As Wall Street JournalThe Census Bureau estimates that California has an illegal aliens, one of the five migrants.
Sources in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) say that the California State Medicare and Medicade Services (CMS) centers are obliged to report the medie-time data.
Newsom cut funds for illegal migrant healthcare in the state budget, signed at the end of last month, cooling the taxpayer-funded medie-funded Medi-Kal of California for new illegal immigrant applicants starting from January 2026. The Governor planned to charge illegal migrants to start a premium in 2027.

“I am worried about the use of section 1115 waves of Newsom, especially under the Social Security Act, which has opened the door to the migrants unlikely to use the Medicade at the expense of American taxpayers,” Hunt said.
Section 1115 of the Social Security Act provides the power of the federal government to forgive specific Medicade requirements. State can request exemption from section 1115, allowing them to bend and potentially reduce these requirements.
“Does California’s Medicade System fully comply with the federal law?” Hunt questioned. “How many other Democrats run by Democrats are exploiting similar flaws? It’s time to throw light on this misuse and close it.”
