Alina Habba on Thursday indicated that she does not plan to quit her role as a temporary American Attorney of New Jersey, announcing that she “not covers” for pressure after federal judges voting against extending their tenure.
Habba, a former individual defense lawyer of President Donald Trump, wrote online in a statement that he was appointed “acting” American Attorney, a change from his former job title.
“Donald J. Trump is the 47th President. Palm Bondi is the Attorney General. And I am now the United States Attorney for New Jersey district,” Habba wrote. “I don’t pressurize. I don’t respond to politics. It’s a fight for justice. And I am all in.”
