Former vice president Kamala Harris Repeatedly said that on Thursday, the President who did not want to be a part of “piling” against Biden, when the 2024 campaign was pressed about the dynamic of running to change her boss.
During his appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Collbert”, the host said he and others wondered how Harris would be separated from Biden, who was forced to leave the democratic ticket due to his unpopularity and inability to overcome his terrible debate with Donald Trump.
“It must have been difficult, because you have to separate yourself as a candidate, and yet you respect this man whom you are still working at the same time,” Collbert said. “What did you like to navigate?”
Harris said, “I talk extensively in that book, referring to their newly declared election memoir” 107 Days “, which refers to the length of their brief campaign. “You are doing something that you and I know that we need more time to talk about now.”

Colbert teased him that he and his audience were not in a hurry, before Harris became serious.
“It is my instinct that there is someone who does not participate in piling,” he said. “And I was not going on the pile, and I was not going to do so yet. And there was a lot of pilting at that time, and I was not going to participate in it.”
Harris appeared referring to Biden’s Democratic ambush after hiding her health issues. Colbert did not specifically asked Harris any question about Biden’s mental decline behind the curtain mentioned in several books this year.
Biden’s family is still affecting the insult to effectively throwing from Democratic tickets last year.
His aging and cognitive concerns were naked during his performance in the last June debate with Trump, and eventually became too much to give up the pressure of leaders such as Nancy Pelosi and other party luminaries.

Biden quit the race on July 21, 2024, supported Harris, and the Vice President quickly sewed the nomination and reset the race with Trump. But Harris and Running Met Tim Walz were unable to overcome their own shortcomings as a headwind of Biden’s unpopularity, as Trump romanced for a comfortable victory on the election night.
The inability to get out of the shadow of Biden during the campaign harassed him.
Perhaps Harris’s most memorable media blunder came only on one of the places that could be a rival to Colbert’s friendship: “The view.” Co-scientist Sunny Hostin asked Harris what he would have done differently than Biden in the last four years, about which Harris replied that “was not one that comes to mind.”
He said, “I have been part of most of the decisions that have been affected.”
