Thousands of firefightings are struggling with heavy blasts in Spain and Portugal on Saturday, as some parts of southern Europe have been held by record-breaking heatwaves.
Spain’s National Weather Agency AEMET stated that the temperature at many places had exceeded 44 C on Saturday and warned of a high risk of fire in “practically the whole country”.
More than 1,500 sq km (579 sq mile), Spain has been destroyed by flames and seven people have died.
A heatwave has scorched the health of Southern Europe this week, indicating wildfire in Spain, Portugal, Greece, France and Balkan.
