Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has fired the head of the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), which has issued an assessment on US attacks on other senior military officers along with Iranian nuclear facilities.
The Lieutenant General Jeffrey Crust will no longer work as the head of Diya, a senior defense officer told Fox News Digital on Friday.
The firing was leaked in the news media months after the details of Dia Diya of Operation Midnight Hammer. The evaluation questioned the effectiveness of attacks on Iranian nuclear sites.

Sands was a Navy seal that served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He was the Chief of Staff for the US Special Operations Command, Commander of the US Special Operations Command Africa and Commander of Naval Services Training Command. The reason he was fired is unknown.

Trump has fired other military officers in recent months, including the Air Force General CQ Brown Junior, as the chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, as well as the top naval officer, the second highest ranking officer of the Air Force and the top advocate for three military service branches.
