Honor is ready to launch Magic V Flip 2 in China this month, its design, color options and launched before launch.
Honor has announced that its next foldable phone, The Magic V Flip 2, will debut in China later this month. The company has revealed the date of launch with the design and color variants of the phone, designed in collaboration with fashion designer Jimmy Chu. The model will replace the first generation honor Magic V Flip, which was launched in China in June 2024.

According to the details shared on the Vibo account of the company, Honor Magic V Flip 2 will be launched on August 21 at 7:30 pm local time. Currently, pre-registrations are open on the official website of Honor and select e-commerce platforms in China.

Honor Magic V Flip 2: Design and Color Options
The official product listing shows foldable in four color options including blue, gray, purple and white. The blue variant designed by Jimmy Chu has his signature engraved on Kaj. The gray model has a matte texture, while the purple and white versions carry a marble-pattern design.

With shared images, Honor Magic V Flip 2 shows the facility of Edge-to-Ej Outer Display. It also shows a re -designed double camera setup with similar size rear cameras. In comparison, the first generation magic V Flip had a large slot for its main camera. Inside, the foldable screen has slim and uniform bezels with a centrally placed holes placed at the top for the front camera in the front camera.
Honor Magic V Flip 2: Major features (leaks)
A recent leak has shown that the device can be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8S General 4 chipset. It may have a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ LTPO main display and a 4-inch full-HD+ LTPO cover screen. The rear camera setup may feature a 50MP primary sensor measuring 1/1.5 inch.

The Honor Magic V Flip 2 is also rumored to include a 5,500mAh battery, which will be the greatest capacity seen in a lameshell-style foldable phone to date. It is also expected to include 80W wired fast charger.
