England batsman Danny Wyt-Hodes led 59 from 39 balls and a good all-round display of Sophie Divine led a 15-run win against Birmingham Phoenix in women’s hundred.
Phicious was slipped from 22–3 in search of 140 to win Phoenix, but Captain Elise Perry led a revival of a 37 stand with Amy Jones of England and 36 with Sterre Kallis.
Visitors were in a strong position with the need of 45 from the previous 30 balls, but New Zealand’s all-rounder Divine dismissed Perry for 26 to fall from 95–4 to 124.
Devin also captured a catch to dismiss Jones for 20, removed the Ila Lister for one and scored a great run out in his follow-through, which was under pressure to get rid of Megan Shoott for Lower Order of Phoenix, not to support 44 of Kallis from 34 balls.
England’s Seemar Lauren Bell also impressed for Bahadur, with 3–17 on Wednesday, in his initial win against Manchester Original, continued his good form after a three-wicket race.
Earlier, Wet-Hodes made 52 pairs for the third wicket with Divine, who made 27 27 after falling cheap for six and Laura Volvard of South Africa made a fluent 28.
Brave had a solid platform at 120–2, with 15 balls remaining, but Phoenix fought with a hurry of wickets and returned to the hosts at 139–7.
Australia’s Seemar Megan Shutt and England’s EM Earlot were standout bowlers with 2-23 and 2–19 respectively.
