A “ice cream man”, who was badly stabbed in the northwest London, is named as Shazad Khan.
The Metropolitan police were called to Monks Park, Vambali on around 18:10 BST on Tuesday, where a 41 -year -old man was treated for stabbing wounds, but died on the spot.
Officials arrested a woman 31, on suspicion of conspiracy to kill a woman, then arrested a man in the early hours of Wednesday morning and arrested a person in custody.
39 -year -old Aseem Mahmood Butt, a resident of nearby Tokington Avenue, said that Mr. Khan was known for selling ice cream in the region.
Mr. Butt said that he was a childhood friend with the victim.
Speaking at the scene, he said: “This man, we know him – he is a famous ice cream man. He stabbed yesterday.
“I also know his brothers – they are all local. We all used to play cricket and football here in Monks Park.
“He started selling (selling) ice cream about a year ago.”
Mr. Butt said that the victim’s ice cream van, which was parked on the road at the time of the incident, was locally known for having a large teddy bear.
Another witness, which did not want to name, said that the ice cream van was removed from the scene in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A blue forensic tent and several Mate officers were seen inside a police cordon at Monx Park on Wednesday afternoon.
Removing vehicles also snatched a separate white van and blue car.
Det Ch Sup Luke Williams said: “Our views are with the family and friends of Shazad in this unimaginably difficult time.
“This incident will cause concern throughout the community, but at this stage intelligence assures us that there is no widespread threat to the public.”
He appealed to anyone along with information about contacting the police, stating that there will be an increased attendance in the area while continuing the investigation.
The Metropolitan police earlier reported that the victim was 38.
