Killer Brian Kohberger spoke of only three words in the court on Wednesday when he was given an opportunity to explain why he killed Idaho students of four universities in November 2022.
“I decline respectfully,” Kohberger said, stands partially.
The 30 -year -old was sentenced to four consecutive lives without parole for murders, as well as 10 years for theft and $ 290,000 in financial penalty to the families of the victims.
Judge Steven Hippler said, “The more we struggle to take clarification for unexplained, the greater power and control we give him,” said Judge Steven Hippler. “In my view, it is time to end Mr. Kohberger’s 15 -minute fame.”

Earlier this month, Kohberger convicted November 13, 2022, killing Madison Mojen, 21, Kaylee Gonclaves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20 and Ethan Chapin, 20.
He secretly admitted the students’ off-kampus house in the morning and killed friends with a knife.
The prosecutors said that Kohberger killed Moosen and Gonclave in a top bedroom before killing Colonodal on the main floor. Then he attacked Chapin, who was sleeping in a bedroom.

Trump sentenced the plea of Brian Kohberger’s petition to important Idaho killings
During a news conference on Wednesday after Kohberger’s sentence, the press secretary of the White House Karolin Levitt said that if it was up to President Donald Trump, he “forced the monster” to convince himself.
He said, “We are very sorry for sorrow and pain that you have experienced the hands of such a vicious and wicked killer. Our nation is sad with you and we will never forget those precious souls who were lost in this horrific work of evil,” he said. “If it were above the President, he would have forced this demon to publicly tell why he chose to steal these innocent souls.”
“God can bless everyone affected by this unimaginable tragedy,” said Levitt. “Parents especially those who lose their children.”

Before sentence, prosecutors asked a bois judge to extend the order Kohberger From contacting families of victims for additional 99 years.
The current no contact order ends on January 5, 2027.
