Two people were allegedly killed when their scooter was killed at a fast pace near the Rani statue of Jhansi in the Nehrunagar region of Ahmedabad in the early hours of Monday.
The incident occurred around 1.30 am when the victims recognized Akram Altaf Qureshi (22) and Ashfaq Jafar Ajmeri (35), both residents of Jamalpur were traveling towards Shivrangini intersection, according to a report in the Indian Express.
Police said a car allegedly operated by 20 -year -old Rohan Paresh Soni, according to the report, hit her Activa scooter near Rani Bharit bus stand of Jhansi in Ahmedabad.
A traffic police official said, “He (Rohan) was driving his car at full speed and was a careless manner, killing Activa and throwing both of them on the road.
After the accident, the video footage showed the scooter beyond the recognition. Effect broke the fence of the BRTS corridor, inspired two-wheelers and the victims in the gates of the Queen bus of Jhansi inside the corridor running along the Nehrunagar Road.
The Times of India said that according to the traffic police records, Sony has a history of traffic violations, including over-speeding, driving without documents and facing police.

In a separate incident in Delhi, two people died in the 30s, when a Mahindra Thar hit him before crashed into an electric pole near the Tocktora Stadium in Chanakyapuri area on Sunday morning.
The accused driver, 27 -year -old Ashish Kumar has been arrested and a blood test is being done to determine if he was drunk.
One of the deceased was identified from Sikkim as Sujesh Kshatri, while the other victim is yet to be identified. The accident occurred around 6.30 pm, which is about 300 meters from Gate No. 3 of Tocora Stadium.
