New Delhi: India Block leaders will meet on Saturday, July 19, 2025 to discuss the political situation prevalent before the monsoon session of Parliament. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that the meeting will be online at 7 pm. However, according to RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav, the block will also hold a meeting of a person at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi on the same day.Yadav said at a press conference in Patna, “India Block will hold a meeting on July 19 at Kharge Saheb’s residence in Delhi, RJD will participate in it.”Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut confirmed his party’s participation and said that July 19 suits him for the meeting. Raut said in Mumbai, “Yesterday, we got a call from KC Venugopal ji … Uddhav Thackeray says that India’s block meeting is needed. We have chosen on the date of July 19.”The upcoming monsoon session starting from July 21 is expected to confront the ruling BJP and Congress -led India block till 21 August till 21 August. The opposition is preparing to raise issues including special amendments for the Election Commission’s electoral roll in Bihar, the claims of Pahlgam terrorist attacks, Operation Sindoor, US President Donald Trump’s mediation claims and the restoration of the entire state of Jammu and Kashmir.Additionally, the Congress is expected to focus on farmers’ issues, unemployment, women’s safety and recent Ahmedabad air accident.Two days before the start of the session, an all-party meeting called by the government is likely to be held on Sunday.
